Who's Behind VTL Nutrition?
We are three friends in Columbus, OH. One of us is a personal trainer, one of us has competed in elite combat sports his entire life, and one of us is into a wide variety of recreational athletics like backpacking and lifting.
Between training partners, clients, and teammates, we’ve spent years around athletes who take their health and performance seriously.
Each of us trains regularly for our own goals and hobbies, and we all enjoy the optimization aspect of supplements. Creating a business based on our shared perspectives just kind of naturally presented itself to us.
Across our different sports and training backgrounds, we noticed a lot of confusion and noise around supplements. We specifically saw a lack of understanding among combat athletes, despite how critical proper supplementation can be in combat sports.
What's VTL About?
We only sell six different supplements because they’re actually ones we take. Most supplement companies offer as much variety as possible - but we’re the opposite.
As people who train regularly, we care about the legitimacy and integrity of sports science. Unfortunately, it’s quite difficult to find a centralized source of honest information and transparent products. Everyday athletes miss out on real benefits and sometimes even face harmful consequences because of misinformation.
Our mission is to build a community around those exact principles of transparency, integrity and community.

Why Are VTL Nutrition Supplements Different?
The supplement industry has a reputation problem for a reason. Poor ingredient sourcing, proprietary blends, and unclear labeling have been common for years.
We built VTL with the opposite approach:
